To be a good fit for the Customer Product Quality Manager opportunity, you will have:​
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science or a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of Quality experience within the produce and/or food products industry
  • Excellent data analysis skills; proven ability to work with, understand, interpret and communicate data
  • Strong computer and software skills including:
    • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets and experience with large data sets Quick question for you - click here

    • Knowledge of JD Edwards preferred
    • Other data analysis tools such as Visual Basic or Qlik are a plus
  • Personable and professional experience working directly with customers
  • A well-rounded skillset including strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and investigate, balancing fact-finding with customer sensitivity
  • Solid presentation skills to present to customers and internal leaders
  • A calm, helpful demeanor and a customer-centric approach, even under pressure
  • Ability to travel up to 25% to visit customers, including stores and restaurants, and production plants

Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Quality, as Customer Product Quality Manager, you will serve as a key support resource to the organization and Corporate Quality Assurance function by actively monitoring and reporting complaint trends, and troubleshooting quality issues found in the consumer marketplace. You will actively work with customers, Sales and Quality Assurance teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve incongruities between customer expectations and Bonduelle specifications.

Role Specifics
You will serve as the lead internal resource for direct observations and investigative research to help determine the facts as objectively as possible, understand customers’ perspectives regarding product quality concerns, and help identify common ground to establish consistent, specification-based acceptance criteria or identify the specific underlying basis for a disagreement about quality. In executing your role, you will use photographic images, complaint data analysis and field observations to provide objective detail to help focus internal investigation and correction of quality deviations, with the goal of reducing customer rejections and helping customers spot opportunities in their operations to improve the performance of Bonduelle fresh products.   • Managing and monitoring quality KPI metrics and reporting for the organization
  • Collecting and maintaining quality complaint data for retail and food service customers
  • Owning quality data management and reporting, including presentations and scorecards, as required
  • Supporting facilities and customers through alignment visits to plants, distribution centers, stores and restaurants for troubleshooting
  • Preparing quality data for internal and external groups and stakeholders
  • Supporting special projects, such as data mining for hidden trends, historical comparisons, providing visible quality support for new customers, etc., as required
