To be a good fit for the Warehouse Receiving Supervisor opportunity, you will have:​
  • A bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related warehouse and supervisory experience, ideally supervising a team of 10-20+ associates Quick question for you - click here
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred but not required
  • Comfort with computers and software including:
    • Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite; Microsoft Excel required
    • ERP software, preferably JD Edwards 
    • Tableau; DSI, and/or TMS or similar data management, inventory and transportation software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to work on a production floor where temperatures can be as low as 35 degrees F and conditions are almost always wet  Quick question for you - click here
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
  • Bilingual English / Spanish, French Creole, Hindi or Bengali a plus but not required
You must be comfortable supervising our second shift Receiving team, scheduled from 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM Monday - Friday, plus overtime. Overtime can be substantial and include extended hours (we work until the day's production is complete) and an extra weekend day. Note: This is a salaried position, but you will be compensated when working six days.

Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager,  as Warehouse Receiving Supervisor, you will be responsible for the overall safe and consistent direction of the Receiving Department, while supporting the policies, goals and objectives of the company. You will directly oversee a Receiving team of 17-20 associates and Receiving operations. You will schedule team members, ensuring you have the staff needed to select and receive products in a productive and cost-efficient manner, and manage daily Receiving operations, to make sure that all shipping and warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with our safety policies, GMP practices, and cleanliness standards. Specifically, you will:
  • Direct all 2nd shift warehouse receiving activities, including receiving, inventory control, equipment maintenance and sanitation.
  • Oversee inbound shipments (trucks and a shuttle that runs between our two closely located facilities). 
  • Maintain warehouse pick rates; oversee out of stocks, receiving errors, selection errors and warehouse slotting of products.
  • Manage all administrative duties, including generating warehouse productivity reports, including selection and receiving rates; account for all labor hours, both direct and indirect; adhere to budget requirements and work to meet division goals and objectives.
  • Oversee safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees, and ensure they meet OSHA, local and state regulations.
  • Manage, coach mentor and develop associates to work to their potential and meet productivity goals.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse equipment, including preventive maintenance programs and all necessary repairs so that warehouse personnel have safe and efficient equipment with which to perform their duties.
  • Recommend equipment requirements and replacements to the Senior Warehouse Manager in order to upgrade and maintain warehouse productivity and efficiency.
  • Establish and implement a sound operational and organizational plan to directly support of the business plan.
  • Manage the progressive disciplinary process for 2nd shift associates, as needed, including counseling, and oral and written warnings. Ensure a productive labor climate.
  • Collaborate with business partners such as Customer Service, Transportation and Operations in order to meet business needs.
  • Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming shipments, packaging, handling and disposition of materials, warehouse inventory control.
  • Continually evaluate storage efficiency and space requirements and make recommendations regarding proper racking, slotting and flow through.
  • Direct the salvage of damaged products.
  • Ensure production lines are fed raw product.
  • Other duties as needed and assigned.
