Warehouse Trainer - Split Shift

- Earn $19.50 per hour, PLUS shift differential, PLUS a temporary marketing differential of $2.00 on top of the hourly rate!
- Earn up to a $1,000 sign on BONUS - to be paid out in weekly $50 increments until the associate reaches their $1000 allotment.

The Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent; some college or an associate's degree is preferred
- 1+ years of direct training experience, preferably in a manufacturing/production environment and ideally with fresh produce
- Solid training and presentation skills and comfort leading and guiding others in a diverse, multi-cultural production environment
- Experience operating a forklift; experience training others to operate forklifts is a plus
- Certification in OSHA training is preferred; if you don't have it, we'll help you get it
- Outstanding interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills in English
- The ability to work and thrive in a team-oriented environment
- The ability to coach and mentor a team
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated (34°F) and wet environment
You will train associates on both the first and second shifts. Your start times will vary between 9 AM and 1 PM, depending on training needs, and you may work up to a 12-hour shift as production dictates. For the most part you'll work Monday through Friday, but we'll also look to you to be flexible about both the days and hours you work.
The Role
Reporting to a Human Resources Business Partner, you will help drive efficiencies and associate retention by developing, training and coaching associates on the line on standard operating procedures. You will be responsible for the training and integration of new associates, including temporary workers, into the warehouse environment, which includes exposure to multiple refrigerated areas. You'll train on forklift operation, picking, receiving, shipping and more.

In general you'll spend the majority of your time with each new associate for their first two weeks. You'll also manage performance by retraining associates on various processes as needed and requested by production leadership, and deliver, track and document specialty training to meet state and federal standards.
