To be a good fit for the Digital Marketing/Social Media Coordinator opportunity, you will have:
  • 2+ years of social/digital marketing experience
  • Experience in both corporate and agency environments is a plus
  • Experience with FB Analytics, Google Analytics, and scheduling platforms
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to write compelling digital content that compels followers to take action
  • Project management experience with the ability to set and meet deadlines, be detail oriented and highly organized
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS content management systems, such as WordPress, and website management
Just as important will be the following competencies and characteristics:
  • A forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset to plan and create innovative campaigns
  • A proactive, self-starter approach with the ability to take initiatives and run with projects independently, working with discretion and under pressure as needed
  • A positive, energetic attitude and natural leadership qualities
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

You will report to the Marketing Director and join a team that also includes a Graphic Designer. We also work with agency partners around the globe. You will be responsible for building and growing brand social media platforms by developing social media content that is engaging and delivers against the brand positioning and strategy. You also will manage influencer programs and execute digital marketing campaigns, as well as reporting on campaign performance.

You'll invest the majority of your time in three key areas:
  • Maintaining our social media presence, including responding to consumers and ensuring we provide excellent customer service (10% to 15% of your time) Quick question for you - click here
  • Ensuring campaigns are successfully meeting targets, taking an "always on" approach (25% to 30%)
  • Taking the lead in engaging consumers, driving conversations, and developing creative organic content (55% to 65%)
More specifically, you will:
  • Manage, monitor, and develop social media content and calendars for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn in partnership with PR agency partners
  • Work directly with the Marketing Director to create engagement strategies in line with company and brand positioning to build and grow social media presence
  • Identify opportunities for user-generated content amplification and response
  • Work closely with customer service and corporate communications to ensure proper and timely response to inquiries
  • Generate, maintain and share marketing campaign documents including developing campaign recaps, key learnings and recommendations
  • Act consistently as the voice of the brand
