To be a good fit for the Finance Manager, Supply Chain opportunity, you will have:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience including familiarity with physical supply chains such as in the CPG industry; prior experience in the Ag industry is a plus
  • The ability to understand the supply chain process from sourcing-to-shelf, develop solutions and implement action plans
  • Computer proficiency, including:
    • Experience with ERP systems such as JDE
    • Experience with Tableau or similar reporting databases
    • Strong understanding of Excel
  • An approachable and collaborative demeanor and a pragmatic and customer-centric mindset

Reporting to the Director of Operations Finance, you will be the strategic business partner, cost champion and key contributor to the AgOps and Procurement leadership teams. You'll invest about 80% of your time in supporting the Ag sourcing team, and about 20% with the condiments sourcing team. Condiments refers to non-produce ingredients such as chicken, cheese, etc. Quick question for you - click here

Your main responsibilities will fall into three areas. In the area of Business Partnership, you will offer insights, choices and alternatives to help the Supply Chain and Procurement functions deliver or exceed their financial commitments. This will include:
  • Developing and maintaining performance reporting and decision support
  • Providing guidance on inefficiency areas (loss analysis) and recommendations
  • Supporting the monthly financial close in partnership with Supply Chain, Procurement and Accounting teams
  • Evaluating and maintaining internal controls to protect pricing and inventory accuracy
  • Documenting policies and procedures and educate colleagues
With regard to Budgeting, you'll build detailed annual budgets in concert with standards and processes determined by corporate finance. You'll also develop standard costs in concert with the Supply Chain, Procurement and Innovation & Development teams.

In the area of Forecasting, you'll create periodic estimates that incorporate known and perceived headwinds and tailwinds, including:
  • Providing insights into how demand changes, supplier costing, sourcing, yields and buffer strategies affect the P&L
  • Identifying and validating cost reduction initiatives including modeling and gross-to-net actualization for CapEx-enabled and continuous improvement projects
