The Requirements
- Previous team supervisory experience
- Ability to coach and mentor a team
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work 10-12+ hour shifts on a regular basis, as shifts last until end of production (which can vary substantially)

The Role
Reporting to the Team Lead, as Assistant Team Lead, you will play an important, hands-on production leadership role overseeing a team of 25-45 associates, depending on the line, product and shift. You will assist the Team Lead, serving as the line leader and his/her right hand (similar to an assistant supervisor). You will be responsible for coaching team members and ensuring strong production flow and proper inventory usage. Based on the production schedule, you will oversee the inventory flow -- meats, cheeses, lettuce, trays and inserts, etc. -- deciding which item comes next in order to create finished Bistro or Salad products. You will also ensure inventory accuracy as items are fed into the production line, and as unused items are returned to the inventory system. This is heavy, fast-paced production with a constant flow. The plant runs 13 production lines with multiple product changeovers every shift. Strong communication with the line team and a commitment to following safety protocols at all times will be essential.
