To be a good fit for the Senior Associate Marketing Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Marketing or Business.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in innovation and/or a brand marketing role.
  • Innovation and marketing experience required.
  • Familiarity with product development and commercialization.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills; top candidates will have experience analyzing IRI and Nielsen data.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Strong presentation skills.
Preferred but not required:
  • Excellent Google Sheets / MS Excel and Slides / PowerPoint skills.
  • Good financial acumen, and ability to interpret P&L information.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate up and down the organization.
  • Home cooking and or culinary experience and interest in food trends a strong plus.
  • A proven track record of results with a bias for action.
  • A passion for learning and a craving to work in a fun culture.
You may be asked to travel up to 10%, occasionally overnight, usually within the U.S. or Canada. You will need flexibility to work occasional nights or weekends if needed, though these should be rare.

You will assist the Senior Manager of Innovation in leading development and commercialization of innovation projects, including concept research, packaging design and development, through to market launch, execution and post evaluation.

Position responsibilities:
  • Assists with creating white space innovation ideas for vetting and testing.
  • Works with Insights team to test and vet ideas to identify winning concepts for commercialization.
  • Works closely with Culinary team to create delicious recipes and concepts that fulfill consumer needs.
  • Works with design agencies to create and then internally approve pack designs.
  • Tracks progress to timeline to ensure we are on track for desired launch timing.
  • Helps create sell-in materials to present new concepts to retailers.
  • Tracks and reports spending vs budget for innovation and research.
  • Works closely with Operations staff in facilities to commercialize and execute innovation projects and launches.
  • Works with Customer Development team to track and report in market performance.
  • Works effectively as a contributor in highly collaborative working teams.
  • Keeps consumer needs at the core of all elements of the development process.
  • Builds collaborative relationships with business partners, both internal and external.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
