There will be a learning curve, and we'll look to you to be proactive as you get up to speed quickly. Pivotal to your success will be your initiative and drive to learn and help outside of your primary responsibilities. For example, Irwindale is a very large facility with a lot of lines and there are typically multiple special projects underway at any one time. Those who excel here volunteer and step up to take on special projects when asked.

Your interpersonal and communication skills will also be essential to your success. You'll alert Frontline Coordinators and other key contacts when there are issues, but we don't position ourselves as "quality police." You should maintain a positive approach and build rapport with the Operators. For the most part, you'll find them open to your input, but there will also be times when you need to be assertive.

The production environment is fast-paced and busy, and you'll need to monitor and be aware of many activities. This role calls for a cool-headed tech who can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. In addition, in order to be an outstanding QA Tech II, you will:
  • Promote safety as well as quality.
  • Take on new challenges and continue learning.
  • Pay attention to details and also grasp the bigger picture.
  • Combine creativity and analytical skills in solving problems.
  • Assume ownership of and accountability for your responsibilities.
