To be a good fit for the Indirect Sourcing Manager opportunity, you will have:​

Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, as Indirect Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible to coordinate, consolidate and optimize the sourcing on all the indirect categories. Strategic sourcing initiatives will be driven by Bonduelle Fresh Americas business strategy and aligned with CSR initiatives. Quick question for you - click here

Your sourcing activities will encompass two categories:
  • Corporate indirect - contracts and relationships for professional services: sales, marketing, finance, legal, etc.; consultants; and engagements /statements of works for service providers
  • Industrial indirect - things that are used in our plants and categories; Maintenance Repair and Operating (MRO) expenses; pipes, valves, fittings, equipment, and major capital items. 
We have sourcing processes in place, but we will look to you to develop a multi-year strategy and roadmap for the future of elective strategic sourcing. It’s also important to note that this is a global role, and you will partner with our sister businesses around the world to help optimize indirect sourcing.  

You’ll handle full lifecycle indirect sourcing—from sourcing to contract to implementation. Once the provider is implemented, it hands off to the business to own it. But you will be responsible for ongoing supplier relationship and performance management. 

More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Change agent for the business: You will lead change management efforts related to implementing our strategy and transformation in support of category strategy and operational objectives. You will drive sourcing strategy on the indirect categories that will generate that will value creation for the company through process improvements, contractual efficiencies and elimination of waste with a goal to achieve and exceed annual and multi-year cost, savings targets.
  • Category expert: You will coordinate the indirect spend categories which include, but are not limited to, operational spend, finance, travel, facilities management, meetings and events, information technology, professional services, management consulting, business process outsourcing, contingent labor, marketing.
  • Business partnership: You will develop strong partnerships and nurture a positive business relationship with internal stakeholders and suppliers to understand their processes; short- and long-term business objectives, strategic direction and goals while providing a customer focus attitude. Organize and lead business reviews with strategic suppliers. Build short- and long-term Sourcing pipeline.  You conduct and manage RFP/RFX processes. You support internal customers by ensuring supplier performance, delivery of goods and services, and provide ongoing supplier management
  • Forecasting: You will develop and execute category strategies, which includes spend / metrics data, industry benchmarks and future budgets to provide recommendations to the business on savings ideas, supplier rationalization and operational improvements. You negotiate pricing and other business terms with suppliers, conduct industry benchmarking of pricing and make recommendations on programs to reduce supplier costs.
You’ll join a small and talented team that includes a Director of Reporting and Analytics, an Analyst, our Direct Sourcing Team, and other team members in Canada, France and Russia. We also work with a third party company for our data analytics activities.
