• A Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 3-4 years' experience in similar category management and analytics position (preferably perishable/grocery). 
• In-depth understanding of Category Management analytics, tools & process.
• Expert knowledge of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI, Panel Data). 
• Strong knowledge of JDE shelf management software. 
• Working knowledge of Google Apps (Gmail/slides/sheets).
• The ability to consistently exhibit the aptitude to maintain focus while managing workload efficiently and effectively in an ever-changing environment.
• Ability to plan and execute assignments to completion with minimal supervision.

Reporting directly to the Category & Customer Insights Manager, as Senior Category Analyst, you will take ownership of category management analytics for the entire portfolio of products for Bonduelle Fresh Americas. 

You will support over 35 over our largest retail accounts that we currently do business with or are looking to expand into. Your activities will also support the food service segment of the business. 

This is a role where you will work closely with our Sales team to provide analytics, trends and strategies that will help grow and develop our fresh foods category. You will be responsible for the development and deployment of scorecards, planogram recommendations, category reviews, assortment tools and new item trackers as well as helping to guide the team on new areas of opportunities. We will look to you to leverage resources such as Nielsen, household panel data and other tools and databases. 

More specifically, your primary position responsibilities will be to:

• Provide analytical insights for the produce category for BFA to identify trends and suggest strategies to maximize profitable sales growth.
• Partner closely with all internal parties to understand latest insights and provide recommendations on category management strategic opportunities.
• Develop best in class planograms by segment, as well as ad hoc schematic requests.
• Drive applicable insights with shelf design and item assortment recommendations.
• Development and deployment of customer scorecards.
• Manage the development and maintenance of Customer Category Reviews.
• Create New Item Trackers, benchmarking and progress reports.
• Maintain an awareness of customer's current activities such as promotions, new item launches, discontinued products, new product development, and price changes, etc., and take necessary actions to execute the plans.
• Be directly accountable for special projects assigned by a manager as they correlate to career development.
• Leverage your strong analytical skills that translate to actionable insights to further grow and develop the packaged salad category.
• Ability to mine customer data to identify category, segment, and brand trend opportunities. 
• Assist in development of internal/external presentations to enhance selling opportunities. 
• Ability to effectively and efficiently present ideas in front of customer leadership/internal leadership.
